About The Position

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level IV - 2nd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Operating with a proactive safety mindset by identifying hazards, stopping work when necessary, and modeling behaviors that strengthen an interdependent, injury‑free workplace.
  • Applying SPC, poka‑yoke, visual standards, and thorough inspections to prevent defects, control non‑conforming material, and reduce cost and quality risks.
  • Running equipment independently at required cycle times, meeting production goals, and consistently producing parts that meet exact specifications.
  • Acting as a formal resource for teammates, coordinating work, sharing expertise, and strengthening overall team capability.
  • Performing routine cleaning, operator care, and maintenance tasks while partnering with skilled trades to identify issues early and keep machines running efficiently.
