Production Associate III
About The Position
Overall Objective: Oversee a group of employees and motivate them to do their job efficiently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Production Supervisor in directing the work of others in the production area Ensure all members of the line understand the work instructions by conducting proper training Work efficiently and communicate appropriately with other members of the line Maintain pace to ensure orders will be completed on time. Perform work assignments timely and accurately Demonstrate ability to operate all equipment safely and properly Demonstrate good working understanding of quality processes (VCI rules, non-conforming product, etc). Identify and correct errors quickly Weigh parts consistently if required. Seal and label containers appropriately Ensure all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order Ensure product is placed on skid in accordance with work orders Support supervisor by preparing required reports, assisting production employees, and providing support in other production areas as needed Meet productivity standards Complete required paperwork accurately, timely, and legible Perform any other related duties as required or assigned Observe safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly Report job-related injuries immediately Control and monitor all work order changeovers. Follow established procedures for re-stock. Conduct spot-checks Sign off on all Best Practices, Large Audits, and Quality Audit Forms
Requirements
- Basic computer skills / verbal and written communication skills / basic math skills
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work overtime when required
- Able to meet all mandatory training for position
- Consistently be at work and on time
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to work in stressful situations
