About The Position

This position is for CURRENT associates only. The overall objective is to oversee a group of employees and motivate them to do their job efficiently. The Production Associate III will assist the Production Supervisor in directing the work of others in the production area, ensuring all members of the line understand the work instructions through proper training. This role requires efficient work and appropriate communication with other line members to maintain pace and ensure orders are completed on time. The associate must perform work assignments timely and accurately, demonstrate the ability to operate all equipment safely and properly, and have a good working understanding of quality processes (VCI rules, non-conforming product, etc.). They will identify and correct errors quickly, weigh parts consistently if required, and seal and label containers appropriately. Ensuring all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order and that product is placed on the skid in accordance with work orders are key duties. The associate will support the supervisor by preparing required reports, assisting production employees, and providing support in other production areas as needed, while meeting productivity standards and completing required paperwork accurately, timely, and legibly. Any other related duties as required or assigned are also part of the role. This includes observing safety and security procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, using equipment and materials properly, and reporting job-related injuries immediately. The role also involves controlling and monitoring all work order changeovers and following established procedures for re-stock, as well as conducting spot-checks and signing off on all Best Practices, Large Audits, and Quality Audit Forms.
