About The Position

This position is for CURRENT associates only. The Production Associate III will oversee a group of employees and motivate them to do their job efficiently. The role involves assisting the Production Supervisor in directing work, ensuring understanding of work instructions through training, and maintaining efficiency and pace to meet order completion deadlines. The associate will also be responsible for operating equipment safely, understanding quality processes, identifying and correcting errors, and ensuring proper sealing and labeling of containers. Additionally, the role requires ensuring all materials and parts are present before starting a new work order, supporting the supervisor with reports and employee assistance, meeting productivity standards, and completing paperwork accurately. The position also involves observing safety procedures, managing work order changeovers, following re-stock procedures, conducting spot-checks, and signing off on various audit forms. Responsibilities

  • Assist Production Supervisor in directing the work of others in the production area
  • Ensure all members of the line understand the work instructions by conducting proper training
  • Work efficiently and communicate appropriately with other members of the line
  • Maintain pace to ensure orders will be completed on time
  • Perform work assignments timely and accurately
  • Operate all equipment safely and properly
  • Demonstrate good working understanding of quality processes (VCI rules, non-conforming product, etc)
  • Identify and correct errors quickly
  • Weigh parts consistently if required
  • Seal and label containers appropriately
  • Ensure all materials and parts are present on the line before starting a new work order
  • Ensure product is placed on skid in accordance with work orders
  • Support supervisor by preparing required reports, assisting production employees, and providing support in other production areas as needed
  • Meet productivity standards
  • Complete required paperwork accurately, timely, and legible
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
  • Observe safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly
  • Report job-related injuries immediately
  • Control and monitor all work order changeovers
  • Follow established procedures for re-stock
  • Conduct spot-checks
  • Sign off on all Best Practices, Large Audits, and Quality Audit Forms
