About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for various tasks on the production floor as assigned by the Shift Supervisor. This role involves actively participating in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors, demonstrating daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance, and treating quality as a key pillar of success by always doing the right thing for customers. The associate will solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member, unpackaging and preparing raw material for use in production, retrieving and preparing work in process parts for the next production process, and preparing finished products for inventory by assembling packaging material, labeling, taping, stacking, inspecting, and recording information. Additionally, the role may involve helping in the relief of breaks as needed, maintaining records and documentation, and performing other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
  • Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Represent the company in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters
  • Comply with occupational safety regulations
  • Work in shifts and overtime as required
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
