About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Weekend Production Associate to join our team in Orwell, Ohio. In this role, you are responsible for performing assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
• Manual finger dexterity skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.
• Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
