About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the Production Associate will be cleaning and prepping of radiators, oil coolers, and associated parts, assembling and/or building units. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with the ability to work with minimal supervision and cooperate in a team environment. Assists supervisor in identifying maintenance requirements. Performs all work activities in accordance with Health and Safety Program and Quality System. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to use air tools, impact, grinder, etc.
Ability to use basic hand tools, hammer, wrenches, etc.
Ability to set, adjust and secure tooling using various hand tools and measuring instruments.
Self-motivated, reliable and can work without much supervision.
Attention to detail.
High School Diploma or GED, required
Basic math and reading skills.
Ability to bend, lift, stand repetitively throughout the day.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work with hands-on tedious operations.
Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands, arms and shoulders.
Occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
Must regularly hand lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and prepping of radiators, oil coolers, and associated parts.
Assembling and/or building units.
Assisting supervisor in identifying maintenance requirements.
Performing all work activities in accordance with Health and Safety Program and Quality System.
Using air tools, impact, grinder, etc.
Using basic hand tools, hammer, wrenches, etc.
Completing training per requirements of company training program.
Assisting other employees in setup and operation functions as needed.
Identifying improvements of methods that will increase quality and profitability.
Identifying maintenance issues as they arise.
Providing information as requested to other departments to facilitate the completion of work projects.
Understanding and complying with all facets of the Health and Safety Program.
Understanding and complying with all facets of the Attendance and PTO policies.
Exhibiting professional demeanor.
Reading, understanding, and following routings and work instructions.
Performing all other duties as assigned.
