About The Position

Under the direction of the departmental Supervisor, the Production Associate I executes the position responsibilities to ensure that business goals are met. This role involves following work processes, supporting department functions, and ensuring parts match customer specifications by referencing work instructions, build charts, and part configurators.

Requirements

Exhibits strong manual dexterity with the ability to perform high-quality soldering
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to meet customer needs in dynamic situations
Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, procedure manuals, Bill of Materials, and ISO9001:2015 work instructions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Requires the ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and simple tools, as well as a wide variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, a calculator, telephone, FAX, photocopier, etc.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Two-year degree/certification, Associate’s Degree, or preferred.

Responsibilities

Follows work processes and demonstrates proficiency in at least one functional area: High-quality soldering or related activity, Product assembly.
Supports overall department functions and responsibilities: Assists other personnel to meet delivery schedules, Monitors and maintains equipment including sealers, work benches, and label printers; notifies Production Supervisor if repair or replacement is required, Disassembles returns as assigned, Counts inventory for cycle counts and full physical inventory, Executes work instructions and provides expected feedback, Executes build-to-stock orders as assigned.
