Under general supervision, this role assembles components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, to contribute to the completion of a variety of products. The associate will prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines, working from process work instructions and test procedures. This role involves monitoring and recording documentation to meet quality requirements, following production build rates and schedules, and meeting required cycle times. The associate will interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices, assemble cartons and containers, and prepare products for shipment according to specifications. Responsibilities include set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area. A commitment to quality, reliability, and continuous improvement is expected, along with meeting all training and documentation criteria. Meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, is also essential.
