Production Associate (Hot Stamp) - 3rd Shift
About The Position
As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. As part of our involvement, Jefferson Industries Corporation offers design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. We embrace programs for product development including product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. Our facilities support high quality product manufacturing, and we provide a timely and flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers. We are actively seeking production associates to join our Hot Stamp Department on 3rd shift (core schedule, Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am).
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours
- Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist throughout shift
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet customer demands overtime may be daily and/or weekend
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

- Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Hot Stamp Press Operation: Assembly Installs/Set-up dies on bolster during die changes Loads blanks for continuous production operation Prepares robotic tooling for change-overs Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications Perform general housekeeping duties Must be willing to operate forklift Other duties as assigned
- Laser Cutting Operation: Perform proper set-up for specified product Continuously monitor process Assists in troubleshooting Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications Perform general housekeeping duties Other duties as assigned
- Weld Lines: Load/unload metal parts in weld jig Assembly Change weld-tips Inspect parts to ensure quality standards met Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory Perform daily equipment inspections Restock for oncoming shift Perform general housekeeping duties Other duties as assigned

- Base-Rate Pay increase every three (3) months, up to top-out rate
