About The Position

The Production Associate – Hard Goods contributes to ThriftSmart’s Quality Management and Value Management teams in order to categorize, price, and stock donated goods. Production Associates will perform some combination of the following duties and responsibilities: Sort incoming donations into proper categories. Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest. Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines. Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed. Assist customers with loading furniture purchases. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Meet production standards for quality and quantity. Assist other production areas as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of experience in retail or warehouse environment preferred.
• Regularly required to stand
• Regularly required to speak and hear
• Regularly required to use hands
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to lift items up to 40lbs.
• Occasionally required to lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally required to team lift items weighing more than 150 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus
• Must pass a drug test and go through the e-verification process.
