About The Position

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Assembler. This role involves performing assembly of interior and exterior doors, working at various machine centers as needed, and verifying accuracy of work orders against materials and assembly instructions. The position also requires providing basic customer service, inspecting materials for defects, collaborating with team members to fulfill orders, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety procedures and programs. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
• Ability to read tape measurements
• Ability to stand during the entire work shift
• Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
• Continuously lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with millwork
• Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
• Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors
• Work at various machine centers as needed
• Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
• Inspects all materials for defects and appropriate quality/condition
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
• Maintain clean working area
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
• Engages in all required safety programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned
