Requirements

High School Diploma required or a combination of equivalent experience
Previous machine operator or packing experience strongly preferred ideally from a food/beverage manufacturing environment
Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with others in a respectful, positive and collaborative manner
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions (i.e. lifting up to 25kg)
Able to work as a team member

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operator or packing experience ideally from a food/beverage manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Hand package filled containers into cardboard boxes as they progress down from conveyor line and tape boxes and ready for palletizing
Observes & fills inclusions into proper equipment and sets controls to meet recipe requirements
Inspect filled container to ensure product is packaged according to specifications
Check for leaks and other minor defects
End of shift prepare for sanitation process. Disassemble equipment parts for washing
Perform housekeeping tasks on shift
Perform other duties and activities that may be assigned
