About The Position

The Production Associate 3 is a highly skilled assembler who works independently on complex electro-mechanical assemblies and cables. This role serves as a technical resource within the cell, supporting quality improvements, troubleshooting, mentoring, and advanced production execution.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years electronics assembly experience including complex builds and repairs; prior experience mentoring others.
Certification to or demonstrated knowledge of IPC-A-610 and or IPC/WHMA-A-620 required.
Advanced technical skills in complex assembly, troubleshooting, rework, and process optimization.
Ability to read and follow complex drawings and schematics.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and equipment reliability concepts.

Responsibilities

Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly, cable builds, and repairs to support production requirements.
Solve complex electro-mechanical assembly challenges and troubleshoot detected assembly defects to maintain quality and throughput.
Perform visual inspection at defined steps in the manufacturing process to identify workmanship and assembly defects.
Partners with team leads, supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers to improve team capability.
Communicate technical issues and improvement recommendations clearly to support problem resolution.
Support documentation updates and training content to maintain accurate build and quality standards.
Influence process changes and training practices through subject-matter expertise.
Reduce cost of poor quality by improving repair effectiveness and preventing repeat defects.
