About The Position
The morning floor director is in charge of setting up the studio for the newscast, which includes getting microphones, lights, and cameras ready for the show. During the show, they are in charge of keeping time and letting the anchors know when they are on and off air. This position is part-time (20 hour/week). Mon. - Fri. (5:00 am - 9:00 am.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a High school diploma or GED
- Be able to stand for an extended period of time
- Be able to move heavy objects
- Must be able to do basic math
Responsibilities
- Setting up studio
- making sure batteries are charged
- timing of shows and cut-ins
- moving cameras from set to set
