About The Position
Perform a variety of tasks involved in assisting production activities. Some of those tasks include pulling material, pulling dies, and staging material. The role requires following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Requirements
- Strong ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced production environment.
- Committed to following processes and quality procedures to achieve repeatable results.
- Ability to stand/walk for the majority of a work day and work in a factory/warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and operate factory machinery.
Nice To Haves
- Computer skills preferred, Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Performs work as assigned by Production Manager, Area Lead, or Team Lead.
- Pull packaging supplies (boxes, pallets, bags, etc.) per job instructions.
- Read job specifications and fully understand process prior to beginning each operation.
- Pull materials for next jobs.
- Pull dies for next jobs.
- Pull any associated tools or fixtures.
- Move documentation back and forth to administrator and attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Perform operation to acceptable quality standards and transports finished work pieces.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Accurately complete all documentation as required to complete each job.
- Performs housekeeping duties around work center such as emptying trash bins and keeping isles clear of clutter to avoid slips, trips, and falls.
- Does not perform quality tasks or decisions.
