About The Position

Clow is looking for a Production Assistant in the Laser Department to help keep our laser production running efficiently by inspecting parts, removing imperfections, and supporting the Laser Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, working with their hands, and being part of a team that values quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools or grinders is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Clow forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 100 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, material handling, and part movement
• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes

• Relevant experience may be eligible for higher base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs, removing imperfections to meet quality standards.
• Remove completed parts from laser nests and keep laser beds clear for continuous production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the Laser Department.
• Use our ERP system and a forklift to move, stage, and store materials accurately.
• Work closely with Lead and Senior Laser Operators to keep production flowing smoothly.
