About The Position

This role involves operating assembly equipment, rotating through different work cells, packing finished products, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, participating in cell improvements, and performing duties according to quality standards. The position requires proficiency in English, a minimum of 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment, manual dexterity, mechanical proficiency, and the ability to use various tools and read measuring devices. The candidate must be available to train on A shift before moving to B shift.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills.
• Able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
• Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to B shift.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
