About The Position
This position involves cutting and preparing wire to customer specifications, assembling mechanical components, and ensuring all products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On the job training will be provided. No prior experience necessary.
Requirements
- Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or wire processing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Cut, strip, and prepare wire according to work orders and specifications
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and production documents
- Measure wire lengths and components accurately using measuring tools
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Package completed assemblies for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
- Assist with inventory and material handling as needed
- Work overtime when required to meet production demands
