About The Position

The Production Assembly position is responsible for assembly line work associated with the company’s various product lines. This includes all positions within the assembly, sub-assembly, and component build work centers.

Requirements

  • Use of power tools and basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions, communicate clearly with team members, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Professional behavior in a team setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills; willingness to develop working knowledge of company systems.
  • Physically able to lift 50lbs without assistance, stand for shifts, and work overtime on short notice.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to changes in work tasks, processes, or priorities.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Read and interpret work orders, Pad drawings, charts, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and precision in work tasks, with minimal errors.
  • Correctly use and read gauges & a tape measure to 1⁄16 in.
  • Physically able to lift 50lbs without assistance, stand for shifts, and work overtime on short notice.
  • Willing to learn, rotate through all areas/plants, and pursue additional training.

Responsibilities

  • Meet daily/weekly production goals.
  • Read and follow operator instructions, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.
  • Self-check work and inspect prior processes.
  • Learn, retain, and rotate through all assembly skills in the assigned product line.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing & cross-functional teams (engineering, materials, purchasing, sales)
  • Perform rework when necessary.
  • Complete all required forms and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe 5S work area.
  • Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools correctly.
  • Apply feedback from Supervisor and/or Team Lead.
  • Initiate and support process-improvement ideas.
  • Work in proximity with customers when required.
  • Train other employees when needed.
  • Any other jobs/duties given by supervisor/manager.
