Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic is required.
  • Basic skills in oral and written communication.
  • Comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) rules and procedures.
  • Ability to use independent judgment in visual checks to determine if process is within control.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations per work instructions.
  • Conduct quality checks as indicated in the Control Plan, and complete the appropriate paperwork.
  • Restock workstation with necessary parts and equipment.
  • Weigh and pack finished goods.
  • Transport boxes accepted by quality to the end of the press/machine row.
  • Certify parts from hold cage.
  • Review work instructions and quality alerts daily at assigned presses/machines to assure proper part review, and sign-off on new quality alerts as needed.
  • Attend shift meetings.
  • Notify supervisor, process tech, operator, and/or inspector of any part or equipment defects that affect quality of the parts and/or hinder the ability to do the job required.
  • Notify process tech, supervisor, operator, and/or inspector when press alarms and/or stops running for any reason, or if scheduled press is not running.
  • Rewind a variety of terminals, as defined by product codes.
  • Package and label properly.
  • Visually inspect equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
