Weekend Production Assembler
About The Position
As a Production Assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks in a safety-focused manufacturing environment, making windows and doors and ensuring each product meets the quality standards for Marvin’s premium products. An experienced training team will teach you to safely use hand and power tools. The role involves moving around throughout the day and working with equipment. Air-conditioned facilities are provided, and employees are eligible for cross-training in multiple departments to develop their skills and careers. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation starts at $21.50 per hour based on experience, plus a $3 shift differential. Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 10 to 70 pounds.
- Grip 65 pounds.
- Bend, twist, stoop, and climb.
- Stand and walk on concrete.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products using tools and automated equipment, which may include drilling holes, measuring or cutting parts, and using a saw.
- Read visual and written instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts and deliver them to production lines.
- Cross-train in multiple departments.
