Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred; HVAC manufacturing experience is a plus.
Ability to read measuring devices, assembly instructions, and basic blueprints.
Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with HVAC equipment assembly or sheet metal fabrication.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Experience using torque tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring instruments.
Forklift certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Assemble HVAC units, subassemblies, and components using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
Read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Install mechanical and electrical components, including wiring, motors, fans, coils, compressors, and controls as required.
Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors.
Perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled products when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and company safety practices.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Accurately complete production documentation and quality records.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Cross-train in multiple assembly stations as needed.
