About The Position
Reeb®, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Production Assembler in Post Paint to join our team for the assembly of custom door units, including doubles, patios, cut-downs, with transoms and/or special hardware. Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required. This is a 1st Shift position, Monday - Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed for production. The starting pay is up to $20/hr based on experience.
Requirements
- Finish carpentry and woodworking experience required
- Ability with specialized carpentry tools
- Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessary
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and understand English
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Responsibilities
- Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble semi-custom single door units
- Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
- Operate several different saws to cut material
- Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly
- Use power tools for special door prep
- Apply special hardware, such as Bommer hinges, spring pivot hinges, multi-point locks and panic hardware
