About The Position

Founded in 1966, Engineered Air is a custom manufacturer of industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment with consistent growth and expansion throughout Canada and the United States. Many employees work in our manufacturing facilities as Production/Factory Assemblers where they read blueprints and specification documents, create parts lists, and gather materials to fabricate and assemble Engineered Airs custom HVAC equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with hand, power tools, and tape measures
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Standing for long periods of time in a busy production environment

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and specification documents.
  • Create parts lists.
  • Gather materials to fabricate and assemble Engineered Airs custom HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten sheet metal.
  • Assemble metal components for installation into HVAC equipment.
  • Wire electrical systems for HVAC equipment.
  • Test electrical systems and perform quality checks.
