About The Position
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Production Assembler in Eden Prairie, MN, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role; electrical/electronic assembly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required
- Able to work 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday including overtime if needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Assemble lighting control products according to detailed work instructions and blueprints
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished goods meet company standards
- Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools
- Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
