About The Position

The assembler uses various hand and power tools to assemble the products by performing the following duties. This role is responsible for assembling more technical assemblies and sub-assemblies with daily use of electric, pneumatic, and advanced hand tools. The assembler must produce quality products, report defective materials, and maintain a clean and orderly work area following the company 5-S Program. Communication with supervisors regarding job improvements and willingness to move to other areas/buildings are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Must be able to transcribe numbers correctly.
Must pass a physical fitness for duty test that assesses the ability to lift varying weights essential to job function.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
One year of related experience

Responsibilities

Maintain the work area and equipment clean and orderly and follow all prescribed safety regulations, including the company 5-S Program.
Communicate with the supervisor with ideas to make their job more productive or ergonomically correct.
Be willing and able to move to other areas/buildings within the company to perform expected job duties.
