About The Position

We are looking for a Production Assembler-A Shift to join our team! This role involves setting up and operating various assembly equipment, rotating through different work cells, packing finished products, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and actively participating in cell improvements. The assembler will perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills.
• Able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices.
• Must be available to train on A shift prior to moving to B shift.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Packs finished product for shipment.
• Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
