About The Position
As a Manufacturing Associate, you'll be part of our team located in Skokie, IL on 2nd Shift. You will safely perform a variety of assembly operations, operate manufacturing equipment, assist with line setups, maintain quality standards, and handle material handling requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to perform basic math - add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail
- Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
- Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction
- Flexibility in work assignments
- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
- Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassemblies
- Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
- Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
Benefits
- Pay starts at $19.00 plus shift premium totaling $21.50
- Eligible for annual bonuses
