About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Production Assembler/Technician to support our Portland operations. This position works on the manufacturing, production, and service of products. This includes the on-time assembly, testing, quality, packaging, and shipping of US and international sales orders. The employee must have the ability to perform essential job duties without posing a direct threat to safety or health of the employee or others. The employee must also perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment as a Production Assembler/Technician
  • Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
  • This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving of both inventory and non-inventory materials and supply items
  • Inventory management and accuracy
  • Processing WO’s, and conducting transactions in our ERP system.
  • Produce new units as well as conduct repairs. Repair activities include: evaluating, estimating, and performing repairs, modification or overhaul of customer returned units to manufacturing specifications.
