About The Position

The primary responsibility of an Assembler is to complete assembly functions identified and specified, as well as position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements, with precision and accuracy. The Assembler should also serve as a working team member and individual contributor to the overall team’s success. This role is not for a typical line worker; instead, you will be reading schematics and assembling pumps with another team member.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Mechanical experience with Power tools is a must!
  • Ability to use measurement tools and devices
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assembly functions based on written or verbal instructions
  • Read and evaluate assembly instructions to assure proper construction of products
  • Cross trains to learn multiple functions in the production environment
  • Adhere to company and regulatory agency health and safety standards
  • Comply with Quality and Environmental Policies applicable to daily work activities
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies as directed
  • Clean and organize shop and other areas as required
  • Ensure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in the day-to-day activities of each and every project that they manage
