About The Position
MI Windows and Doors is looking for a Production Assembler to join our Day Shift team in Flower Mound, TX. The role involves assembling door components, operating machinery, inspecting products, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle assembly tools safely.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work the swing shift and overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Assemble door components following detailed specifications and production guidelines.
- Operate and maintain tools and machinery required for assembly.
- Inspect assembled doors for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
