About The Position

All Weather Architectural Aluminum is offering an Apprenticeship program designed for graduating seniors who are mechanically inclined and not seeking a college degree. This program is ideal for students who have excelled in technical classes such as shop, auto-repair, robotics club, or other manufacturing-oriented subjects. It provides valuable professional work experience, mentorship, and comprehensive training over the summer months. The program structure includes job rotations across different production departments, weekly training sessions on safety, professional skills, HR topics, and company knowledge, and opportunities for feedback and reviews. Based on performance and mutual acceptance, there is a potential for extension to a full-time, permanent position with a pay increase and benefits.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years old by the program start date.
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs, unassisted.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hand and arm length, kneel, and crouch.
Full hand dexterity.

Nice To Haves

Mechanically inclined.
Not seeking to pursue a college degree.
Excelled in technical classes like shop, auto-repair, robotics club, or other manufacturing-oriented classes.

Responsibilities

Make job rotations during the 12-weeks to experience working in more than one production department.
Participate in training sessions covering safety, professional skills, HR topics, and company knowledge.
Learn about work/life skills applicable to future positions.
Receive feedback and participate in reviews.
Engage in team building activities with peers.
