About The Position

BK Corrosion is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the team. The warehouse associate is responsible for general warehouse functions; inventory management, and miscellaneous labor.

Requirements

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license.
• Have a basic understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety.
• Communication skills necessary to work with management, customers, and co-workers.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Packaging of products for shipping and receiving
• Ensure order accuracy with attention to detail
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Safely operate forklifts
• Precise written communication abilities for completing daily paperwork.
• Physical stamina in the handling of complex tools and heavy equipment and moving through confined spaces.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while using their own technical judgment regarding complex tasks.
