About The Position

The Production Analyst’s primary purpose is to insure the timely flow of accurate and relevant information needed for data-driven decision-making to the various stakeholders at Constellium Ravenswood. These stakeholders include the Supply Chain, Sales, Finance and Operations leadership teams. The Production Analyst is tasked with distilling, analyzing and interpreting the available information, identifying trends, and developing options for resulting action. Where data-collection and/or analysis tools are inadequate or non-existent, the Production Analyst will collaborate with IT, CI and other departments to develop new tools and techniques to meet the stated objectives. Finally, as a member of the Ravenswood supply chain team, the Production Analyst will participate in or lead department- and plant-wide continuous improvement projects, and a serve as backup for other supply chain functions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering (other Engineering disciplines considered)
  • At least 2-3 years relevant work experience (operations data analytics, production planning, production scheduling, operations supervision, process improvement) in an industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to simulate and resolve complex supply chain problems using the full palette of advanced data-analytics and modeling capabilities offered by advanced spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or similar (Pivot tables, macro programming, database queries, etc.).

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent hands-on experience).

Responsibilities

  • Order book and demand analysis
  • Operational KPIs (production performance and trends)
  • Quality performance
  • Transportation and logistics parameters
  • Material flows and inventory analysis (WIP, raw materials, scrap, etc.)
  • Maintenance and enhancement of existing supply chain data collection, display and analysis tools.
  • Development of new supply chain tools using Excel, PowerBI, SAP and other platforms to further enhance Constellium Ravenswood leadership’s ability to make real-time data-driven decisions.
  • Data collection, interpretation and analysis support for individual production units within Constellium Ravenswood as needed.
  • Participation in and/or lead interdepartmental continuous improvement projects as they relate to Constellium Ravenswood supply chain, operations activities and digital initiatives.
  • Documentation of workflows and train backups as required.
  • Function as backup for the production planning team (creation of Material Masters and planning of Production Orders in SAP).
  • Other activities and responsibilities as directed.
