About The Position
Provide administrative support to assigned production department. This position requires time on the production floor. Lead production administrative support employees in day to day activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years clerical experience required
- Excellent communication, written and oral, and customer service relationship skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be a self-starter
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English/Spanish, English/French, or English/Swahili a plus
Responsibilities
- Tracking Attendance and Absenteeism
- Creating and updating production reports and spreadsheets
- Act as guide for new employees and visitors to facility
- Taking and distributing emergency messages
- Ensuring all employees time is entered correctly
- Effectively communicates through active listening; acting on input; sharing information in an open timely manner, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and encouraging others to do the same
- Walk the production floor looking for safety issues
- Walk the production floor to disseminate messages or get information quickly
