Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • History of safe work practices.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics environment is required.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
  • Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment, to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score.

Responsibilities

  • Follow complete production schedules with minimal scrap/spoilage.
  • Visually inspect equipment at station for cleanliness or obvious maintenance problems.
  • Clean machine components as needed.
  • Monitor equipment controls, temperature meters, and valves, and adjust as needed.
  • Record data pertaining to work completed, ingredients used, lot codes, and other processing information.
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keep work area clean.
  • Stage ingredients, move packaging and product for production runs.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the department.
  • Operate filling equipment; make minor changes.
  • Machine Rinsing and Cleaning.
  • Assist in machine set ups, ensuring accurate hourly machine counts so that visual boards can be filled out accurately.
  • Label sides and ends of boxes.
  • Place stickers or other identifying information as requested by customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
