About The Position

The Product Validation Engineer is responsible for productization of SiTime’s MEMS-based timing devices. The role works cross-functionally to ensure system-level product performance and supports validation, characterization, and release to production. The engineer partners with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon, develops PCB test platforms and firmware for automated data acquisition and analysis, transfers algorithms to final test and production environments, investigates product issues, and prototypes architectures and technologies for future products.

Requirements

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong fundamental knowledge of mixed-signal circuits.
Hands-on experience with electronics laboratory instrumentation.
Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
Strong statistical analysis skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters.

Responsibilities

Validate and characterize MEMS-based timing products and support their release to production.
Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements that enhance performance.
Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware for automated data acquisition and analysis.
Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
Perform engineering failure analysis to identify root causes of product issues.
Innovate and prototype system architectures and technologies for next-generation products.
