About The Position

This role involves teaching the tasks and techniques associated with high-quality, efficient truck body production. The Product Trainer will conduct training sessions on production-related topics, including government-mandated safety policies and procedures. The position also assists in designing and deploying training programs for continuous improvement and provides technical assistance to process/production planning. Participation in cross-training and supporting the onboarding process within Human Resources are also key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Lift heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to teach and explain production tool safety and use
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Teach the tasks and techniques associated with high quality efficient truck body production (one-on-one or in a group setting)
• Conduct training sessions in production related topics (including but not limited to government mandated safety policies and procedures)
• Assist in the design and deployment of training programs for increased efficiencies and continuous improvement
• Provide technical assistance to process/production planning as needed
• Participate in cross-training opportunities, wherever necessary and appropriate
• Demonstrate the willingness and flexibility to work as an individual, as well as part of a team
• Support the onboarding process within Human Resources and assist new employees whenever possible
