About The Position

BryceTech is seeking an experienced Product Support Specialist to support our US Space Force, Space Systems Command (SSC) customer. The customer, Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power (SSC/SZ), focuses on delivering cyber, ground- and space-based systems that detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and predict threats to national, allied, and commercial space systems, while also providing National Security deterrence capabilities. This role will support the development, advancement, and sustainment of weapon systems for SSC/SZ and their mission partners, requiring an understanding of ground, near-space, space, and associated systems. The work involves providing technical and programmatic assistance throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from design to disposition, including systems engineering, integrated logistics planning, acquisition assistance, and product support requirements development. The specialist will implement and manage support functions, oversee product support for fielded systems, and be knowledgeable in the twelve Product Support Elements (PSE), military airlift cargo management, and relevant financial systems. Additionally, the role includes developing and maintaining technical order management and maintenance activities (TOMA), including participation in acquisition documentation and management of technical order processes.

Requirements

  • Active DoW Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • BA/BS in related field of study
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with establishing product support strategies that align with acquisition strategies and identifying required infrastructures, processes, and procedures to maintain system capabilities
  • Experience with integrating system engineering quantitative design characteristics (reliability, maintainability, etc.) with the functional logistics/integrated product support elements to identify product support resources
  • Experience with integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement and budgeting strategy into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and programmatic assistance, including lifecycle logistics support for cradle-to-grave development and sustainment.
  • Support systems engineering, architecture development, integrated logistics planning and execution, and acquisition assistance (contracting, finance, scheduling).
  • Provide overall product support throughout the acquisition lifecycle: design, development, test, production, sustainment improvement modifications, and system disposition.
  • Develop and deliver draft product support requirements documents to ensure product support considerations are incorporated into system acquisitions.
  • Work with Government cross-functional teams to develop accurate assumptions, capture data, and perform data analysis for product support requirements.
  • Provide guidance and conduct assessments to facilitate informed decisions on developing and maturing product support elements and adherence to statutory and regulatory directives.
  • Implement and manage support functions required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Provide oversight of the product support functions for fielded systems.
  • Be knowledgeable in the implementation and execution of the twelve (12) Product Support Elements (PSE).
  • Manage military airlift cargo using the government transportation network and billing process.
  • Utilize Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS) and Defense Enterprise and Accounting Management System (DEAMS).
  • Provide product support to various space systems, including Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) rapid prototyping, and rapid fielding.
  • Develop and maintain technical order management and maintenance activities (TOMA).
  • Assist with the development of new technical order development strategies to align with changing Government system acquisition strategies.
  • Participate in RFI, RFP, SOW, PWS processes for technical orders.
  • Manage efficient, accurate, cost-effective acquisition of technical orders.
  • Manage technical order in-process reviews, working group meetings, and validation/verification events and schedules.
