About The Position

The Product Support Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue by promoting and selling Rion Equipment’s parts, service, and rental solutions. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships while strengthening existing partnerships to expand the customer base and drive sales growth. Success in this position requires a strategic ability to identify opportunities, deliver customer value, and build long-term relationships that support sustained, profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct sales activities within assigned accounts and territory by making sales calls, building customer relationships, and delivering solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling to increase sales of parts, services, and rental equipment.
  • Negotiate and close equipment sales, rentals, and service agreements that meet customer needs while supporting Rion Equipment’s profitability goals.
  • Prepare and present quotes by identifying needed parts, coordinating with internal teams, and sourcing externally when necessary.
  • Educate customers by providing detailed information such as ROI analyses, cost comparisons, financing options, equipment specifications, and warranty coverage.
  • Inspect customer equipment to identify service, maintenance, and repair needs.
  • Record all customer interactions and sales activities in Rion Equipment’s CRM system to support relationship management and strategic sales planning.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product technology, service capabilities, and marketing programs, and participate in trade shows and industry events.
  • Deliver post-sale support by answering technical questions, coordinating service needs, and communicating updates on new equipment models.
  • Track unpaid invoices, assist with collections, and resolve customer concerns or disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve issues and clearly communicate solutions to customers.
