About The Position

We are expanding our sales team and seeking a highly motivated Product Support Representative (PSR) to support continued company growth. This full-time, field-based sales position is based out of our Lexington KY branch and is responsible for selling parts, service contracts, rental equipment, industrial batteries and chargers, and related products to existing and prospective customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior business-to-business sales experience and/or industry-related experience with IC engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electric motors, or related components required.
• Disciplined, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to solve complex customer problems and collaborate effectively with others
• Strong customer relationship-building skills
• Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount constantly to move objects
• Frequent activities: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and climbing
• Occasional activities: Balancing and tactile work involving fingertips
• Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view a computer terminal, read extensively, inspect small parts or defects, use measurement devices, and perform close-range assembly or fabrication tasks

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred but not required
• Knowledge of the forklift or heavy equipment industry preferred
