Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience
• Good oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt, multi-task, and manage changing priorities
• Self-motivated, ability to learn and apply new skills quickly

Nice To Haves

• A candidate with any of the following will be at an advantage:
• Knowledge of the data center domain and DCIM tools
• Working experience with Linux based environments (RHEL/Rocky preferred)
• Java, ANSI SQL, and general programming skills
• Experienced in using PostgreSQL, Jira, or GitHub
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, docker)
• Scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Ruby, Python, Perl)

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot field issues to reproduce and, when possible.
• identify the root cause Work with the rest of the team as needed to create scripts or procedures to correct problems in deployed systems
• Provide clear and timely communication to keep all relevant parties informed
• Document information and transfer knowledge so that fewer issues are escalated from TS to engineering
• Lead internal and customer-facing calls as needed
