About The Position

You will support production and shipping operations on the 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM), ensuring parts and raw stock move accurately and safely through the workflow. You will impact materials availability for shop floor teams and collaborate closely with receiving, shipping, and stockroom stakeholders in an onsite environment. Your consistent, detail-oriented work helps the team meet schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of product support or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities
• General knowledge of computer terminal operations and experience maintaining electronic records
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read/understand related forms and specifications
• Manual dexterity and the ability to operate moving equipment and saw equipment (may need to meet OSHA safety qualifications)
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming raw stock against documentation and move material to proper locations
• Load/unload trucks and prepare parts and materials for safe shipment, including paperwork and shipping records
• Identify and code raw material; operate saw to cut stock to dimensional specifications
• Issue jobs per schedule and update shop floor, MRP, and other systems
• Perform parts identification and layout per traveler/blueprint instructions
• Receive shipments at the dock, weigh/count incoming and outbound parts, and forward materials to appropriate teams
• Maintain stockroom: prepare parts for storage, select parts to fill orders, perform cycle inventory counts, and access records via computer
• Clean and degrease parts; oil parts to prevent rust and corrosion
• Move parts between functions using forklift or other moving devices, package/repackage parts to prevent damage, and stage tooling to support schedules
• Audit material storage areas and observe all safety rules to keep work area orderly
