About The Position

MidwayUSA is seeking a Product Specialist for their Clothing, Footwear & Marketplaces category. This role involves working with a Merchandising Manager to select products and build relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for shooting, hunting, and the outdoors, along with excellent product knowledge and creative writing skills. This is a full-time position located in Columbia, MO.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or related field preferred)
1-3 years applicable professional experience (preferred)
User of MidwayUSA's core products and have a passion for shooting, hunting and the outdoors
Excellent product and technical knowledge
Excellent creative writing skills
Ability and desire to learn and implement new ideas
Team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Select products according to established category budget & overall company budget
Develop relationships with Suppliers
Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement
Product benchmarking, including selling price, promotions, product offering, and product information.
Create promotional events at the direction of the Merchandising Manager
