About The Position

We sell 150+ new and used Toyotas a month, with existing traffic from floor ups, internet leads, the service drive, and a repeat/referral base. We are looking for someone who knows the product thoroughly, treats customers well, and can close sales efficiently. In this role, you will not be a traditional "car salesman" as you will not negotiate prices or chase customers. Instead, you will demonstrate vehicles, answer customer questions, and guide them through a transparent sales process.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first presence.
  • Basic comfort with technology, including CRM, mobile apps, and vehicle infotainment systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work Saturdays.
  • Strong work ethic and personality.

Nice To Haves

  • Genuinely curious about vehicles and able to explain complex systems like hybrid powertrains.
  • Skilled listener, talking less than listening.
  • Organized with self-directed follow-up capabilities.
  • Resilient in handling rejection and managing busy periods.
  • Comfortable with performance-based metrics and seeing numbers displayed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and work with customers who are already on the lot or scheduled, including floor traffic, appointments, and service-drive opportunities.
  • Gain a professional-level understanding of the Toyota lineup, including Tacoma, Tundra, RAV4, Grand Highlander, 4Runner, Camry, Corolla, Sequoia, and the full hybrid/electrified range.
  • Deliver structured product demonstrations and test drives, covering aspects like Toyota Safety Sense, hybrid powertrain differences, towing and payload capacities, and trim-to-trim comparisons.
  • Clearly explain pricing using a one-price/transparent pricing model, avoiding negotiation or manager involvement theater.
  • Set up customer technology at delivery, such as the Toyota app, phone pairing, and driver-assist settings, to ensure customer confidence.
  • Follow up with sold and unsold customers consistently through the CRM.
  • Complete Toyota certification training and stay current with lineup changes.
  • Maintain high CSI scores by ensuring a positive delivery experience.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
  • Paid Toyota factory training and certification
  • Five-day work week with a set schedule
  • Closed Sundays
