About The Position

MidwayUSA, a privately held eCommerce company in the Outdoor industry, is seeking a Product Specialist for their Sporting Optics & Scopes line. This role involves working with a Merchandising Manager to serve customers by selecting products and building relationships with suppliers. The company is looking for individuals passionate about the outdoor industry.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (Business, Marketing or related field preferred)
1-3 years applicable professional experience (preferred)
User of MidwayUSA's core products and have a passion for shooting, hunting and the outdoors
Excellent product and technical knowledge of Scopes & Optics
Excellent creative writing skills
Ability and desire to learn and implement new ideas
Team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Select products on the Sporting Optics & Scopes line according to established category budget & overall company budget
Develop relationships with Sporting Optics & Scopes Suppliers
Review Supplier Performance metrics & suggest & implement measures to drive improvement
