Product Specialist (Parts Module)
About The Position
PBS is seeking a Product Specialist (Parts) to join the PSG Team within the Development department. This role is crucial for problem management, quality assurance testing, documentation, and participation in the full development lifecycle of new and existing software features and services. PBS is a growing company that has been transforming the automotive industry for nearly 40 years, providing a comprehensive Dealership Management System (DMS) to hundreds of new users each month. Requirements
- University degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ years QA and/or industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in both a team atmosphere and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding prioritization, and organizational skills, including strong project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Willing to dive into difficult technical issues and figure them out
- Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly changing work environment
Nice To Haves
- Travel across Canada and USA, up to two weeks per year
Responsibilities
- Participate in team meetings and scrums
- Investigate, replicate, and escalate problems and bugs
- Collaborate with teams’ members to plan and design new features
- Execute test procedures on bugs and new features
- Create new product documentation
- Manage multiple tasks at once, maintaining exceptional quality
- Review requirements analysis
- Travel required - Minimum one development-defined onsite engagement per year
