About The Position

First Due is seeking a tech-savvy, customer-focused fire and EMS subject matter expert to work as an Implementation Product Specialist. In this role, you will work with Fire & EMS customers to Implement First Due modules, providing industry-leading leadership, guidance, and support as First Due continues to build its best-of-breed end-to-end Fire and EMS platform.

Requirements

  • Experience in Public Safety software or operations (preferably in Fire or EMS)
  • Understanding of Fire/EMS market and standards
  • Ability to take customer requests, determine the desired end state and provide a straightforward path to the most efficient solution.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional project management skills: ability to manage multiple customer requests and projects simultaneously.
  • Patient, responsive, supportive, and respectful; adept at presenting, responding to feedback, and reasonably overcoming obstacles.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an Implementation Product Specialist for assigned modules.
  • Work directly with new customers to efficiently and effectively configure and optimize assigned modules.
  • Partner with implementation project managers to successfully implement and launch First Due to Fire and EMS customers of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Stay educated on module functionality, configuration, and industry best practices, including compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance on standards to both customers and First Due’s product management team.
  • Maintain a full understanding of the features being developed in current and future sprints as well as the product roadmap.
  • Document product gaps arising during implementation and work with product management to ideate potential solutions, especially in relation to compliance requirements.
  • Participate in regional and national user group meetings both virtually and in person.
  • Develop a deep understanding of competitors’ capabilities within the assigned area of the product.
