The Regional Loan Syndications group originates and executes club syndicated bank loans for Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The team partners closely with the Commercial Bank, Enterprise Credit, Middle Market Leveraged Finance and Regional Investment Banking to drive new Bank of America led syndicated loans and corresponding ancillary business.

Requirements

  • Extensive product knowledge.
  • Demonstrates initiative/self-motivation/capacity to learn.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong analytical and modeling skills.
  • Possesses understanding of corporate financial statements.
  • Possesses understanding of financial covenants and basic structuring; familiar with credit agreements.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking.
  • Demonstrates the ability to independently make decisions.
  • Licensing required – Series 79 & 63 (will support the employee through registration process if needed).

  • Commercial Credit experience recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the secondary coverage for clients.
  • Executes complex product transactions that generate significant revenue.
  • Performs financial and statistical analyses.
  • Conducts research and prepares support documentation and client presentation materials.
  • Develops/Maintains Regional Loan Syndication comparative transactions.
  • Assists with quarterly/periodic data reporting and analysis.
  • Prepares quarterly business updates.
  • Assists with logistical and operational tasks associated with lender meetings and loan closings.
  • Works under the direction of more senior associates.
